Tea Worthy of Celebration
100% tea, grown outdoors in sussex, england. Crafted and packed in the united kingdom.
Single Estate English Black Tea Grown entirely outdoors in the Sussex countryside, this whole leaf black tea captures the quiet elegance of the land it comes from. We harvest only the top two leaves and a bud - ensuring delicacy, depth, and refined character in every cup. Each batch is traceable by harvest date and row, expressing the subtle seasonal variations of our unique terroir.
Crafted in our purpose-built, state-of-the-art tea facility, every step from field to finish is guided by precision and care.
Designed as the perfect accompaniment to fine food, it can be enjoyed throughout the day. The leaves may be brewed multiple times - we find the second infusion to be particularly rewarding.
We believe tea should be allowed to breathe.
Our whole leaves are left unconfined - free to unfurl, dance in the water, and release their full character. This gentle expansion creates a deeper infusion, richer in aroma, flavour, and nature’s quiet nourishment.
Tea bags, by their very design, limit this. And many carry traces of plastic - seen and unseen - that do not belong in water, land, or something so timeless as tea.
We honour the integrity of the leaf, the purity of the cup, and the beauty of tradition - loose, slow, and thoughtfully made.
The gold in the special edition golden tea is a tribute to our Celtic forebears, who believed that placing precious treasures in water invited divine favour - most notably for health and vitality.
In 1863, near our estate, an extraordinary Iron Age and Celtic treasure was unearthed: The Mountfield Hoard - a remarkable testament to the reverence once bestowed upon objects of true value.
We aim to hold our tea to that same standard. Rare, carefully crafted, and deeply considered, it is offered as something precious.
